Where It Fits in Your Build
Install the trim ring before wall and ceiling paneling for best results. Post-panel installs are possible but may require trimming. So plan it early, right after your window is in and your wall panel layout is set.
The trim ring covers the raw edge between the window and your wall panel. That gap is one of the first things people notice in a van. A clean ring around the window makes the whole wall look finished.
You can paint the ABS plastic to match your wall panel color, or leave it as is. Because it self-taps to the wall panel, you get a flush fit without extra framing.
Check your window before you order. If you run a CRL T-Vent or a clamp-in window, this Sprinter driver mid trim ring will not fit.
