Why Use a Spacer
A Lagun base mounted flat to a wall or seat can make the pole hard to pull out and drop back in. The spacer moves the base 2" off the surface. That extra room makes pole removal and install easier.
The mounting location is modular, so you can mount the Lagun table spacer mount anywhere it suits your layout. Use it on a wall, a seat base or a cabinet side where you want a table.
